ILLUMISCENE
Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 1 November 2026
1. About these terms
ILLUMISCENE is a UK live-production brand. These terms explain use of this website and general arrangements for our events. Event-specific booking conditions and the identity of the contracting organiser or seller will be shown when tickets are offered. Read those conditions before paying; a mailing-list registration is not a ticket purchase or reservation.
Nothing in these terms removes or limits your statutory consumer rights. If an event-specific condition conflicts with those rights, your statutory rights continue to apply.
2. Website use and content
You may use this website to find event information, follow ticket links and register for updates. Do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, submit unlawful material or use automated activity that disrupts the service.
We aim to keep information accurate and current, but website access may be interrupted and errors may occur. Contact us if information appears incorrect. Event descriptions, imagery and visual previews illustrate the production; the presentation may vary with the venue.
3. Event information and timings
Check the event date, venue, arrival instructions and booking confirmation carefully. Door times, start times, running times and finish times are approximate unless expressly confirmed otherwise. Transport arrangements should allow for reasonable changes and delays.
Important updates will be provided through the booking contact details, the ticketing provider or this website as appropriate. Please keep your booking email address current and check for updates before travelling.
4. Tickets and third-party platforms
Tickets are subject to availability and venue capacity. A Book Tickets link does not guarantee availability. Prices, any booking or transaction fees, payment requirements and delivery arrangements should be disclosed by the seller before you complete your purchase. Check the total price and booking details at checkout.
ILLUMISCENE organises or presents the production; a third-party ticketing platform may supply the checkout, payment or ticket-delivery service. The platform’s responsibilities are distinct from the organiser’s event responsibilities. The booking page and confirmation should identify the seller and applicable conditions.
Where Ticket Tailor processes a purchase, the transaction may also be subject to Ticket Tailor’s applicable terms and privacy arrangements, and the payment provider’s terms. This website does not currently host a ticket checkout. We do not represent a mailing-list signup as a completed ticket transaction.
5. Programme, performers and venues
Productions may require reasonable programme, performer, technical or staging adjustments. If an unavoidable venue or other material change is necessary, the organiser will communicate the change and any available options. A change does not automatically remove rights you may have under the booking contract or consumer law.
We will not substitute these general terms for event-specific information about a material change. Contact the organiser or seller if a notified change affects your booking.
6. Cancellation, postponement and refunds
If an event is cancelled or postponed, follow the organiser’s or seller’s notification for ticket options and the refund or transfer process. Any entitlement will depend on the circumstances, the applicable booking conditions and your statutory rights. These terms do not impose a blanket no-refund policy.
Whether fees are refundable must be explained in the applicable booking conditions and considered in accordance with the law. Do not assume travel, accommodation or other independent costs are included in a ticket refund; any legal entitlement to such costs is unaffected.
Dated leisure-event tickets are generally outside the statutory 14-day cooling-off right for distance purchases. This does not affect rights arising from cancellation, a significant change, a breach of contract or other applicable consumer protections. For other refund requests, contact the seller shown on your confirmation.
7. Lost, duplicated and transferred tickets
Keep your booking confirmation and ticket secure. If a ticket is lost or not delivered, contact the original seller with your booking details. Replacement and transfer arrangements depend on the ticketing system and the conditions disclosed for that event.
A duplicated ticket does not provide an additional admission. Venue staff may need to verify a booking where more than one person presents the same ticket. Avoid purchasing through unverified resale sources.
8. Admission and venue rules
Admission requires a valid ticket and compliance with the venue’s published entry, age, safety and seating requirements. Check event-specific guidance about accompanied children, bags, prohibited items and access arrangements.
Late admission may be delayed until a suitable point to protect safety and avoid disturbing the audience. Follow staff instructions. Abusive, threatening, dangerous or seriously disruptive behaviour may result in refusal of admission or removal in accordance with applicable venue rules and the law; any refund question will be assessed under the applicable conditions and consumer rights.
9. Photography and filming
Respect performers, other audience members and any event-specific restrictions on photography, flash, recording or professional equipment. Recording must not obstruct views or disrupt the show.
If official photography or filming is planned, relevant notices and privacy information should be provided. Ask staff if you have concerns about being identifiable in official material. These terms do not grant unrestricted rights to use your image.
10. Accessibility
Contact us or the venue before booking if you need information about accessible seating, step-free routes, companion arrangements or other adjustments. Facilities vary by venue; confirm that the proposed arrangements meet your needs rather than relying on general descriptions.
Performances may include bright moving light and haze. Ask about relevant effects if you have a medical or sensory concern. Reasonable adjustments and applicable equality-law obligations are not excluded by these terms.
11. Intellectual property and external links
Website text, branding, production imagery and other material are owned by or licensed to their respective rights holders. Viewing for personal use does not transfer intellectual-property rights or permission for commercial reproduction. Music, album names and artist-related material remain subject to their owners’ rights.
External links, including social and ticketing links, take you to independently operated websites. Their content, availability, terms and privacy practices are their responsibility. We aim to use relevant links but cannot guarantee third-party availability.
12. Liability and circumstances beyond reasonable control
We do not exclude or restrict liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Applicable rights to services provided with reasonable care and skill remain intact.
Disruption may arise from circumstances beyond reasonable control, such as severe weather, emergency restrictions, utility failure or an unsafe venue. The organiser will consider reasonable steps to minimise disruption and communicate the position. Such circumstances do not automatically remove refund obligations or statutory rights. Liability and remedies must be assessed fairly under the applicable contract and law.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes may be brought before the courts of England and Wales, without restricting any mandatory right a consumer may have to use the courts of their home jurisdiction.
For website or event questions, contact ILLUMISCENE at steve@illumiscene.co.uk. For a specific purchase, include the event and booking reference, but do not send payment-card details or passwords. Updated website terms will be dated here; changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing booking.
